Early Life
Facundo Pellistri was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. His father, Marcelo, is an accountant, and his mother, Lucía Rebollo, is a pediatrician. He holds Spanish citizenship through his paternal grandmother. Pellistri received a private education, attending St. Brendan’s School and the Ivy Thomas Memorial School.
He began his football journey in Uruguay’s youth systems, first playing for La Picada and River Plate Montevideo before joining the esteemed youth academy of Peñarol, one of the country’s biggest clubs.
